UR22 with two guitars

Post by qayfey » Wed Dec 09, 2015 4:20 pm

I couldn't find this information in the product describtion.

Can you record (and playback)two guitars through the line inputs simultaneously? Will the Hi-Z input only be avaible on channel 2? Do you have to set a higher latency for two guitars?

The UR22 has one High impedance input (Hi Z) on input two.
You will need a DI box to add another on input 1

The "latency" will be unaffected.

Depending on your gear you may not even need a DI, some guitars sound fine on a low impedance input.
Software: Steinberg Cubase Pro 8 64-bit.
Hardware: Intel i5 6600, 16Gb DDR3, Win7 64-bit
Mackie Onyx 1620i - Steinberg Midex 8 - Steinberg CC121.

My humble contributions to what could be considered music.
