CI2+ / Use as Cubase Control only

Post by etchell »

Hi,

can I use the CI2+ only as control device for Cubase 5 while I still use my M-Audio Delta 1010LT as ASIO Audio device?

I am thinking about purchasing the CI2+ from the special offer (w/o Software).

Thanks for your quick response!

That's pretty nice, thanks!

Just to make 100% sure: no need to select CI2+ as ASIO device to enable the control functionality?

I want to use CI2+ mainly for mobile recording with a Laptop but when it is not in use it would be a nice benefit to have it connected to my DAW as control device.

Correct. The controller still work even if you don't use the ASIO driver.
