Rendering real time Wavelab pro 9.5

Post by smoochdaddy »

Hi is there a way to render a mastered file that you are working on, just like in Cubase 9.5 in real time. Instead of offline rendering? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

there is a kind of realtime rendering but it works more in the recording area of Wavelab.
When you open up the record dialog there is an option under "input" -> "playback´s output (record what is played back).
In that case you will hear the master section output while recording. The recording input is internaly patched, means the signal flow will not touch the physical device inputs of the soundcard.

Hope that helps.
cheers
Kay

When you have a hardware in your chain it will render for sure in realtime.
Cubase Pro 10.5 - Wavelab 10 - Nuendo 4 - Reaper 5 - Pro Tools 12 - Logic X - Harrison Mixbus
Mac Pro 2010, 3.33 x2, 12 cores - High Sierra - RME Fireface 802
