Licence problems

I had a laptop running Win 7. I now have one running Win 10. The WaveLab 7 (64 bit) software has been transferred from the Win 7 laptop to the new Win 10 laptop. When I started the WaveLab 7 program I got a message telling me 'No eLicensor connected'. I have looked through various forums and, as a result, have downloaded and installed updated eLicensor software. I have run the maintenance routine on it but still get the same message. Any suggestions?

Wavelab 7 Pro or Wavelab 7 Elements? Wavelab Pro needs the USB elicensor connected. Wavelab Elements needs either that, or the software license activated on the computer.

If those are already there, there was also a compatibility patch for Win 8 that apparently also helped with Win 10:
