This project could not be saved, because: this operation is not allowed.

Post by ninjanatty »

Hi there,
After working on a project and saving it as a new name I keep getting this cubase pro 9.5 error message:-

"This project could not be saved, because: this operation is not allowed. The previous version of the project has been left unchanged."

Therefore I am unable to save new changes to projects I am working on.
How do I fix this issue?
Thanks so much for your help with this.

Hi,

Make sure there is enough free space on the drive. Make sure you have a write permission to the folder.

If it doesn't work, try to use Backup Project instead, and save it to other folder.
