VCA's won't mute from Eucon controller.

Post by J-S-Q »

HOW TO REPRODUCE:
1. Create some audio tracks
2. Select the tracks and add a VCA fader
3. Mute the VCA fader from a Eucon controller (in my case, an Avid S3)

PROBLEM: The audio tracks do not get muted.

If I mute the VCA with the mouse, everything works as expected. It is only if I mute the VCA from the control surface that I have this issue.

This issue is new in Cubase 9. It has always worked fine with previous versions.

Can anyone else please confirm this?
Cubase Pro 9, Win10
CPU: AMD Threadripper 1920X. MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte Aorus X399. RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX. GRAPHICS CARD: Gigabyte GV-N96TSL GeForce 9600GT. SYSTEM DRIVE: Samsung 950 Pro M.2 SSD. AUDIO INTERFACE: Steinberg MR816-CSX CONTROLLER: Avid S3, Avid Artist Transport
