Editor zone only shows the topmost track on grouped tracks

Post by JohannesBerglund »

The editor zone and editor window only shows the topmost clip of grouped clips/tracks.

For folder tracks:
1. Put a bunch of audio tracks in a folder (e.g. drums tracks)
2. Turn on the folder group edit function (=)
3. Open the editor in the lower zone.
4. Select a clip on on the bottom most track in the edit group.
5. Editor shows the topmost clip from the group.

For grouped clips:
1. Make a edit group of a bunch of clips on different tracks (e.g. drum tracks)
2. Open the editor in the lower zone
3. Select a clip on on the bottom most track in the edit group.
4. Editor shows clip from the topmost track in the edit group.

The folder edit function is easy to turn off/on to gain access in the editor but for grouped clips it's worse because you lose the groupings if you turn them off.

Best regards,
Johannes
