Auto Split Resets Clip Gains

Post by bob99 » Tue May 01, 2018 4:46 am

I just noticed Auto Split resets clip gains to 0db without warning. Is that right?

Yes that does seem a little odd, especially if processing multiple clips.

Thanks Stingray. Checking back it looks like it's been like this for a long time, and I never tried it on clips with gain (I don't think), although I use auto-split for rough clip trim all the time. I did notice there's a warning if there's a plugin on a clip, telling you that the plugin won't remain, but no warning for clip gain.
