Tick Display

Post by jhagley »

I am often composing to picture where a 2 Beep is included off the top. The 2 beep is exactly 2 seconds. So at 120 bpm, the picture should start exactly at bar 2. This is how it works in Logic, and in Protools.

HOWEVER

The beginning of every bar in Logic is displayed as x.1.1.1. Cubase displays this as x.1.1.0. So Cubase is like, 1 tick off? Anyone know how to change this?

Hi,

No, Cubase is not off. It's just different logic. The very last digit (tick) starts with 0, not 1. That's all. You cannot change this.
