Cubase 8.5.30 & 9.0.20 PRO crashes when I add a midi track

Post by mac88104 » Sat Jul 15, 2017 11:15 pm

Boring....just finished a fresh windows 10 installation on my laptop (not my main computer). I install Cubase 8.5.30 and it crash every time I try to create my first midi track !
Never experienced that, I changed nothing. I have just changed my ssd.

I tried another Cubase installation. No way, it crashes and closes if I double click on the track panel to create a midi track.

And trying with 9.0.20 gives the same result.

Any idea ?

Thanks

Ok it seems that the nvidia driver that windows 10 installed the first time caused the crash. I upgraded the driver and now it seems to be solved. So windows 10 does many things now, but it does not help all the time....
