Just try to change that one snack and see how it affects your waistline. Then, before eating your main meals, drink a big glass of water, and make it as cold as possible. Don't change what you actually eat for your meal, just drink the water first. What that does is it fills you so you'll eat less of your main meal, which means less calories. The other thing to try is to reduce your portion size by a quarter. Don't change what you eat, just eat smaller portions of it. So, for example, if you go out to a burger place, order the child's meal and you'll still get your burger fix but with a whole lot less calories.
